Founder of Colorful Universe Music School, Pianist. Lin Pan was accepted into the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in the number one seat in Piano and graduated top of her class. In 1999 she won the most prestigious award in the "National Pearl River Piano Competition”. Lin Pan earned her tenure as a recognized instructor in piano performance and artistic music for eight years at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Zhou Xiao Yan Opera Center. 

Holds a BA in Music Theory from Eastman School of Music and MA in NYU. Worked as a musical director, accompanist, arranger and vocal coach in NYC for over 15 years. He taught at the conservatory at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre in Florida, continuing to teach, music direct and play in the orchestra for main stage productions. A musical theatre writer and recipient of a grant from the Jonathan Larson (Rent) Musical Theatre Foundation and the Gilman-Gonzalez Foundation.

From Austin, Texas, but she lived in Southern California for most of the adult years. Have over 15 years of childcare experience. Started studies at California State University, Northridge on Child Development and with a wide range of childcare work experience, varying from babysitting to being an assistant director at a preschool. Passionate in working with classroom setting and give direct positive impact to children.

Associate dean of UTeach Fine Arts (Fine Arts Education), where she works with faculty and students leading teacher certification programs in art, music, dance and theatre. She is also an associate professor of Theatre Education in the Department of Theatre and Dance. As well as an administrator and teacher, An artist-scholar and arts advocate. Her plays for young audiences, including Mariachi Girl and Señora Tortuga, are published by Dramatic Publishing.
